The internet is vast. It is an international network of networks of
computers. There are millions of 'places' to go, 'people' to meet and
'things' to do on the internet Yet many people typically just check their
email, visit some news sites and check some sports news. People tell me all
the time that they can't spend more than 30 minutes on the internet because
they get bored. Scandalous!

The superblog project is up and running! Yup, the ambitious project to build a superblog is here with us.
In case you don't remember too well, it all started as Valedon's idea here, then grew a bit and finally landed its own space on the blogosphere.

Its a community project open to you and every other netizen, in fact we are calling out to you!
Joining this project will not only make you smell better but may earn your blog fame, if we succeed in creating our superblog.

The current plan is to have as many blogs link to our superblog as possible, which is our strategy of building a superblog. Of course the superblog should link back to you, so that you gain something from it. Having thought about how to make this work for quite some time, we believe we have the solution.

Anyone can post anything to the superblog. Ideally, these articles should make sense to humans (i.e no spamming the superblog) and somehow promote your blog, you may also include affiliate links. However, the articles should be of reasonable quality-people should enjoy reading them. It is in these articles that you should link to yourself, or others.

The people who contribute the best articles will get their links posted to the superblog's sidebar.

As a rule, to ensure that we do indeed create a superblog, every two links to yourself on the superblog are required to be accompanied by one link from your blog to the superblog. For example, if you link to to yourself (from the articles you post to the superblog) 30 times, you are required to link to the superblog-from your blog-at least 15 times.

As you may have noticed, this blog started life quite differently. Very differently.

But then something magical happened and this blog died. However, it arose from its ashes like a phoenix and started all over again.

Yesterday, it began officially.

Marazzmatazz asked an importan question:
cool, am curently updating the links on my blogsite to something like 50, so on ur calculation/discovery, it means 200 or so blogs connected to rank as a superblog, is that it?

It looks like for this blog to become our superblog, we need something like 200 blogs( for starters) to link to it rather heavily.

Of course if you do so then you will also be able to link to yourself heavily from the superblog. So its a give and take thing.

First things first, we need more people to join the project. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS POST if you are interested. Please also leave any comments, observations or ideas on how we might be able to build this giant of a blog.
